omg this is super helpful. Only, why can I never find Kale in my grocery store that hasn’t already started composting in the plastic bag? There’s never any fresh Kale NOT in a plastic bag and my local organic garden didn’t have a good crop so she is already OUT.

About Looking for Myself
I am an overweight vegetarian/sometimes vegan seeking to find the fit girl I used to be.
An accident and ensuing disability left me bedridden and then wheelchair bound for a long period of time, during which I put on a LOT of weight.
Losing the weight proved more difficult than I thought. Following fad diets helped me lose the weight, but as soon as I stopped it came right back.
This blog is about my journey to lose this weight in a safe and healthy way, and to keep it off!
I would love to hear about your experiences with losing a large amount (over 50 pounds) of weight. What were your challenges? What helped motivate you? What continues to motivate you while on your journey?

HW: 224.4
CW: 192.0!! (11/30/11-gained some weight over Halloween and Thanksgiving)
1st GW: 200 <--- 8/20/2011
2nd GW: 199! (do a happy dance) <---8/21/2011
3rd GW: 180 (treat myself to a day off)
4th GW: 175
5th GW: 160 (will probably need to buy some new clothes)
6th GW: 150
7th GW: 135
UGW: 120 (getting a new tattoo)
